Sons of the American Revolution

The Prescott Chapter was chartered on Feb 22, 1997.  We serve Prescott, Chino Valley, Flagstaff, Cottonwood, Sedona, Yarnell, Congress and Wickenburg areas.

All Compatriots (local & visiting), their spouses, prospective members & guests are welcomed and encouraged to attend our monthly luncheons held on the 3rd Sat. of the month at 12:00pm (except for Jul, Aug & Nov).  Meeting location is:

Our Luncheon Guests make presentations on a host of interesting topics.  The thrust of our luncheons is to join together in honor of our Patriot Ancestors.

In July we hold our Annual “Ice Cream Social” at Las Fuentes Resort Village, 1035 Scott Drive, Prescott, AZ.

In November, we celebrate a holiday joint SAR/DAR Luncheon.

Our chapter’s community efforts include education outreach focused on American Revolutionary War history, including:

  • SAR Color Guard participation in parades/celebrations

  • “Wreaths Across America” program honors and celebrates our deceased veterans

  • ROTC & JROTC Cadet Recognition Programs

  • Eagle Scout Scholarship Program & Recognition for outstanding community service

  • Veteran Recognition Programs

  • “Operation Ancestor Search” (A program that helps Veterans discover their past)

  • Participation in the yearly homeless “Veteran Stand Down” Program
