KEEP THE FLAME ALIVE
A Sons of the American Revolution Song

Verse 1

We trace our roots to those who stood,
For freedom’s cause as patriots should.
The Sons of the American Revolution
Honor their courage and their contribution.
We gather proudly, brothers true,
Beneath the red, the white, the blue.
We keep their story, strong and bright,
And carry freedom’s torch alight.

Chorus

Keep the flame alive, let freedom ring,
Honor the sacrifice our fathers bring.
Stand with your brothers, faithful and true,
There’s a part in this for me and you.
Pay your dues, lend a hand,
Help preserve the heritage of this land.
For those who came before, and those yet to come,
Keep the flame alive for everyone.

Verse 2

The Sons of the American Revolution
Carry forward a proud tradition.
Our dues help chapters serve and teach,
Keeping our heritage within reach.
We raise the flag, we honor the brave,
And teach the freedoms our founders gave.
Every member helps the story live,
And gives tomorrow more to give.

Chorus

Keep the flame alive, let freedom ring,
Honor the sacrifice our fathers bring.
Stand with your brothers, faithful and true,
There’s a part in this for me and you.
Pay your dues, lend a hand,
Help preserve the heritage of this land.
For those who came before, and those yet to come,
Keep the flame alive for everyone.

Verse 3

The Sons of the American Revolution
Will carry on our proud tradition.
Someday we’ll pass the torch along,
To those who’ll carry freedom’s song.
So pay your dues and proudly stand,
For liberty and this great land.
The Sons grow strong when brothers stay,
And keep the flame alive each day.

Final Chorus

Keep the flame alive, let freedom ring,
Honor the sacrifice our fathers bring.
Stand with your brothers, faithful and true,
There’s a part in this for me and you.
Pay your dues, lend a hand,
Help preserve the heritage of this land.
For the founders, the future, the red, white, and blue—
Sons of the American Revolution depend on you.
Keep the flame alive!
